Descrizione:CCT036477 is a novel, potent inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway. It has been shown to inhibit tumor cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. CCT036477 inhibits protein transport by binding to the surface glycoprotein and blocking the receptor activity. This drug has also been shown to be effective against chemotherapeutic treatment in animal models, such as platinum-based chemotherapy, and to reduce the size of prostate cancer cells in vitro. Clinical trials are currently underway for CCT036477 to treat skin cancer and human osteosarcoma cell.
