NMS P715 is a cell-cycle inhibitor that specifically inhibits the mitotic checkpoint kinase CDK4/6. NMS P715 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in animal models and halt tumor progression in human patients with advanced cancer. NMS P715 has been shown to selectively inhibit tumor cells, while having no effect on healthy cells (e.g., lettuce cells). The molecule is orally bioavailable and can be used for treating various cancers, including pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer.
