Informazioni sul prodotto
1-(3-Nitrophenyl)piperazine is a nitro substituted piperazine that has been shown to interact with the 5-HT receptor subtype. The protonation of the molecule at physiological pH results in an enhancement of binding to the 5-HT receptor and subsequent downstream effects, such as biphenyl inhibition of programmed cell death. This compound also has been shown to be a ligand for the death receptor chalcone. 1-(3-Nitrophenyl)piperazine binds to the death ligand site on chalcone and inhibits cellular proliferation in vitro.
