Descrizione:2-Nitro-N-(hydroxyethyl)aniline is a surfactant that is used in cosmetics to stabilize and protect against hydrolysis. It can be found in hair care products, skin care products, eye makeup, mascara, and lipstick. 2-Nitro-N-(hydroxyethyl)aniline is derived from an arylated amino acid and has been shown to have anti-aging properties. This compound also has been shown to act as an effective biocide for the prevention of bacterial growth on surfaces. 2-Nitro-N-(hydroxyethyl)aniline also shows some solubility in water which may contribute to its effectiveness as a surfactant.
