Descrizione:6-Nitrogramine is a benzodiazepine derivative that is a competitive antagonist of the benzodiazepine receptor, which prevents the binding of GABA to its receptor site. It has been shown to inhibit the formation of carbolines in polyphosphoric acid condensation reactions. 6-Nitrogramine also has acidic hydrolysis properties and nitration effects. It is used as an intermediate in the production of other compounds, including pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
