Neomycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat infectious diseases, including respiratory tract infections. It has been shown to have a low potency in humans, with a half-life of 10 hours. Neomycin can be used as an alternative treatment for urinary tract infections caused by resistant mutants or water vapor because it binds to bacteria's cell wall and prevents the formation of bacterial spores.
