Descrizione

3-Nitrobenzylamine HCl is an intermediate in the synthesis of peptides. This compound is used to produce polypeptides and can be immobilized on a solid support for high yield production. 3-Nitrobenzylamine HCl can be covalently linked to a solid support by reacting with an activated carboxyl group and can undergo conformational changes upon irradiation with ultraviolet light or azobenzene derivatives. 3-Nitrobenzylamine HCl has been used in solid phase peptide synthesis, a technique that produces polypeptides at high yields. It is also used as a substrate for NMR techniques, which are useful for determining the nature of the molecule and its potentials.
