Descrizione:Nigrolineaxanthone V is a xanthone that is extracted from Garcinia nigro-viridis. It has been shown to be an oncolytic virus that selectively infects and destroys cancer cells, including those resistant to chemotherapy. Nigrolineaxanthone V specifically targets tumor cells, as it induces apoptosis in these cells by interfering with RNA synthesis. This compound has also been shown to have antiviral effects in vitro against the Aedes egypticus mosquito and nematodes. Nigrolineaxanthone V can be used for diagnostic purposes, as it binds to antibodies specific to cancer cells and can be detected by 2D NMR.
