Descrizione:S-Notoginsenoside R2 is a ginsenoside compound found in the genus Salvia, and is also known as notoginsenoside R2. S-Notoginsenoside R2 has been shown to inhibit cell death by apoptosis pathway and promote cell survival via the release of neurotrophic factors. It also inhibits neuronal death induced by sodium nitroprusside, which may be due to its ability to reverse the mitochondrial membrane depolarization caused by this drug. S-Notoginsenoside R2 is a natural compound that can be extracted from the Radix Notoginseng with preparative hplc and sodium carbonate, and has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect in response to inflammatory mediators.
