Descrizione:n-Octyl acetoacetate is a metal chelate that has the ability to bind to metals with high detection sensitivity. It can be used as a substrate film for the detection of hydroxy groups, hydroxyl groups and fatty alcohols. n-Octyl acetoacetate is also bifunctional and can be used as both an acid catalyst and a sulfamic acid in reactions. n-Octyl acetoacetate is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, ether, chloroform, dichloromethane, or carbon tetrachloride. It is also soluble in water vapor and carboxylic acids. The functional group of n-octyl acetoacetate is a carbonyl group.
