Descrizione

Oxypeucedanin is a bioactive phenolic compound that is found in the plant angelicae dahuricae. It has been shown to inhibit proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, and as a result, it might have chemopreventive properties. Oxypeucedanin has also been shown to inhibit the activity of P-glycoprotein (P-gp), which transports drugs across the cell membrane. In addition, oxypeucedanin has been found to be a substrate for the breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP). In animal studies, oxypeucedanin was found to have anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful in treating oral pathogens and histological analysis of oral diseases.
