The H-Pro-Ser-OH peptide has been shown to have anti-tumor properties, as it interacts with tumor cells and inhibits their growth. It also has the ability to accommodate various side chains and can be used in synthesis of short peptides or amino acids. The peptide has been shown to bind to calcium carbonate and form a hydrogen bond with the protonated amino acid residues. It also contains sequences that are similar to those found in proteins such as tumor cell line sequences.
