Descrizione:3-Pyrrolidinol HCl is a chiral compound that is a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for bacterial infections. It has been shown to be effective against Gram-negative bacteria, including Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. 3-Pyrrolidinol HCl can be used as an adjunct treatment for chronic neuropathic pain in patients who have not responded to other treatments or are intolerant of them. This drug is also used to optimize the treatment of inflammatory pain. The enantiomer of 3-pyrrolidinol HCl has been shown to be more potent than the racemic mixture in animal models, indicating that this molecule may have potential as a new drug candidate for treating inflammatory pain.
