Descrizione:Phenanthridin-6(5H)-one is a chemical compound that has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties in an experimental model. The sample preparation for the experiment was conducted using palladium-catalyzed coupling of phenanthridone with sodium carbonate. Phenanthridin-6(5H)-one demonstrated genotoxic activity by causing neuronal death in rats exposed to radiation or x-rays. The results of this study suggest that phenanthridon-6(5H)-one may be a potential therapeutic agent for treatment of cancer and neurological disorders.
