Descrizione:Pumosetrag Hydrochloride is a diluent for reconstitution of Pumosetrag, which is an opioid receptor antagonist that reverses the effects of opioids. It has been shown to inhibit the proton pumps in the stomach and duodenum, suppressing acid secretion and delaying gastric emptying. Pumosetrag Hydrochloride also inhibits gastrointestinal motility by decreasing peristalsis and increasing intestinal transit time. The drug has been used in clinical studies to treat opioid-induced bowel dysfunction (OIBD).
