Descrizione

Piperidolate hydrochloride is a prodrug that is converted to acetylsalicylic acid in the body. It has been used as an analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory drug. Piperidolate hydrochloride has been shown to be effective against bone cancer and infectious diseases such as chronic bronchitis and influenza. It also acts as a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. This drug may be used by women to help alleviate symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. The chemical structure of piperidolate hydrochloride is similar to that of acetylsalicylic acid, but it does not have the same side effects such as gastrointestinal irritation or ulcers.
