Descrizione

Palmidin C is a natural product extracted from the bark of the tree, Frutescens. It has been shown to have potent anticancer activity and can be used in chemotherapeutic treatment. Palmidin C is an inhibitor that interacts with hydrogen bonds and fingerprints on the surface of cancer cells at a molecular level. This interaction prevents the cells from binding to one another or to other cells in their environment, which leads to inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis. Palmidin C also inhibits TGF-β, which is a protein that promotes tumor invasion by stimulating cell motility.
