Descrizione:1-Pyrenemethanol is a reactive compound that has been used as an activated fluorescence probe for the detection of fatty acids in living cells. It has been shown to cause genotoxic effects on cells and to have a cytotoxic effect on fat cells, as well as causing radiation-induced damage. 1-Pyrenemethanol can be detected by LC-MS/MS methods and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This compound is also a cyclic peptide with possible anti-inflammatory properties.
