• Descrizione: (S)-Pyroglutaminol is a chiral auxiliary that can be used to synthesize enantiopure amino acid derivatives. The hydroxy group on one side of the molecule reacts with the enolate of an alpha-amino acid or a beta-keto acid to form an ester. The hydroxyl group on the other side of the molecule reacts with ethylene diamine to form an amide.
