Descrizione:1-Pentanethiol is a reactive molecule with a chlorine atom and an activated nitrogen atom. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of organosulfur compounds. 1-Pentanethiol has been shown to have antiviral effects against influenza virus and HIV, as well as antimicrobial properties against bacteria, fungi, and parasites. 1-Pentanethiol also has transport properties that are similar to those of carbon disulphide.
