Descrizione

Pigment Red 149 is a glycol ester that has a hydroxyl group and a diameter of about 1.5 nm. It has been shown to chelate metal ions (e.g., iron) in wastewater treatment, which may be due to its amphiphilic characteristics. Pigment Red 149 can also be used as an optical indicator of hydrogen ion concentration and as a substitute for fatty acid in biological treatment.
