Descrizione

Phytolaccagenin (PLC) is a natural product that is extracted from the fruit of Phytolacca acinosa. It has been shown to be an effective treatment for granulosa cell tumors in rats, with apoptotic effects and alleviation of symptoms of hyperprolactinemia. PLC increases mitochondrial membrane potential and decreases surface methodology, which may be due to its hydroxyl group content. PLC also has anti-inflammatory properties, which have been demonstrated by its ability to inhibit lymphocyte transformation in vitro.
