• Descrizione: L-Prolyl-L-alanine is an α-amino acid that belongs to the group of amino acids. It has been shown to be a competitive inhibitor of multidrug efflux pumps, such as Pgp and MRP1. L-Prolyl-L-alanine also inhibits the activity of enzymes, such as amino function and sequences. Structural analysis has shown that this molecule binds to copper ions, forming a complex with an igf-i receptor. This inhibitory effect may be due to intramolecular hydrogen bonds or homologous interactions between terminal residues on the protein and L-prolyl-L-alanine.
