Descrizione:Pyrimidine-2-ylhydrazine is a pyrimidine compound that has been shown to have antimicrobial properties. It inhibits the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and other inflammatory cytokines in mice with autoimmune diseases. This drug also inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines, including TNF-α, by binding to their receptors on cells. Pyrimidine-2-ylhydrazine is also an analytical reagent for studying oligosaccharides and has been used in studies of the adsorption mechanism for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The molecule has been shown to react with fatty acids in a cyclic manner, which can be detected using LC-MS/MS methods.
