Descrizione:Pradofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that has been shown to have a high level of resistance among bacteria. It inhibits the DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which are enzymes that maintain the integrity of bacterial DNA. Pradofloxacin is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, although it is less effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pradofloxacin is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and eliminated unchanged in the urine. This drug has shown antibacterial efficacy in clinical trials for treatment of infectious diseases such as urinary tract infections, skin infections, and bronchitis.
