2-Pyrazoline is a potent and selective antagonist of the receptor for nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). 2-Pyrazoline is used in vitro to investigate the role of the ft-ir spectroscopy on NSAID binding to COX. 2-Pyrazoline has shown potent antitumor activity in vivo, which is thought to be due to its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis by inhibiting protein synthesis and cell division. The chemical structure of 2-pyrazoline contains a pyrazole ring, which can form hydrogen bonds with other molecules. This makes it more difficult for 2-pyrazoline to leave cells, making it less toxic than other NSAIDs.
