Descrizione:Pentafluoropropionitrile is a chemical that is used as an organic solvent. It has excellent resistance to hydrolysis and chemical degradation, even in the presence of strong acids, bases, or oxidizing agents. Pentafluoropropionitrile is also a non-aqueous solvent with good solubility characteristics for ester compounds. It can be used to generate nitrites from nitrates and has been shown to react with diphenyl ethers and alkynyl groups to form amines. This chemical is stable at high temperatures, making it useful for reactions that require elevated temperatures. Pentafluoropropionitrile has also been shown to be an excellent electrolyte for use in alkali metal electrochemical cells.
