Descrizione:3-(Pentafluorophenyl)propanoic acid is an organic solvent that is used in the synthesis of pyrazoles, and isomers of heterocycloalkanes. It has been shown to have a beneficial effect on chronic prostatitis in rats by antagonizing the CB1 receptor. 3-(Pentafluorophenyl)propanoic acid inhibits bladder contractility and may be useful in treating bladder disorders such as cystitis. The compound has also been shown to inhibit degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, which are characterized by the death of neurons. 3-(Pentafluorophenyl)propanoic acid is not active against bacterial or fungal infections.
