Descrizione:Quinoline Ethiodide is a chemical compound that has the formula CHN. It is a yellow liquid. Quinoline Ethiodide is used in the preparation of emulsions, unsymmetrical dyes, and arsenious anhydride. It is also used as a reagent for the preparation of active methylene compounds, thiourea, nicotine, ethanol solutions, anions, hydrofluoric acid, methyl groups, triethyl orthoformate, cyanines and other organic compounds containing nitrogen atoms. Quinoline Ethiodide can be prepared by adding hydrochloric acid to quinoline in ethyl alcohol solution with triethyl orthoformate as catalyst.
