Descrizione:Rubiadin 1-methylether is a natural product that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in vitro and in vivo. Rubiadin 1-methylether has synergic effects with anthraquinone glycosides, which are compounds found in plants. This compound has been shown to inhibit the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and 3t3-l1 preadipocytes, which may be due to its ability to inhibit nuclear factor kappa B (NFkB). Rubiadin 1-methylether also inhibits the growth of herpes simplex virus type 2, which is a virus that can cause genital herpes. Rubiadin 1-methylether may have immunomodulatory effects as well.
