The chemical shift of rhodium(III)phosphate, as determined by nmr spectroscopy, was found to be at δ=7.6 ppm, which is typical for complexes containing monodentate phosphoric acid ligands. This compound has been shown to have kinetics that are dependent on the concentration of acidic solutions and to exhibit equilibrium in aqueous solution at pH values below 5.5.
