Informazioni sul prodotto
Raxatrigine is a drug that has been approved for the treatment of epilepsy. It is used in combination with other drugs in the treatment of migraine headaches and bipolar disorder, and as an adjunct to antidepressants to treat depression. Raxatrigine is also used as a preventative treatment for cluster headache, and has shown effectiveness in treating diabetic neuropathy.
The drug has been studied extensively in clinical trials and shown to be effective for the management of chronic pain conditions, such as postherpetic neuralgia, fibromyalgia, and low back pain. Raxatrigine inhibits voltage-sensitive sodium channels and calcium channels, which are responsible for transmitting electrical signals through neurons. This prevents the release of neurotransmitters at synapses and blocks pain signals from being transmitted to the brain.
Raxatrigine's mechanism of action creates significant drug interactions with many commonly prescribed drugs such as carbamazepine (Tegretol), phenytoin (D
