Descrizione:(+)-Regiomontanin is a natural compound found in the fructus of Aristolochia plants. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of cancer cells, including breast cancer and lung cancer. This compound also has a germination rate-enhancing effect on cereal grains and inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause chronic bronchitis and urinary tract infections. (+)-Regiomontanin has been shown to react with light at a wavelength of 550 nm, which results in the emission of green light. The chemical structure is unknown but it has been found to exist in nature as a mixture of two optical isomers.
