• Descrizione: Nebivolol is a beta-blocker that belongs to the class of non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor antagonists. It is used in the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. Nebivolol also acts as an antiarrhythmic agent by slowing heart rate and reducing blood pressure, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the binding of catecholamines to beta-adrenergic receptors. The drug is available in oral dosage form in solid oral dosage form as nebivolol hydrochloride and disintegrant.
