Descrizione:Goserelin is a hormone that is used to treat certain types of breast cancer in women who are premenopausal. It has been shown that Goserelin can be used for the treatment of endometriosis and radiation therapy for cancer. Goserelin is also used to prevent recurrence of prostate cancer in men who have had surgery or radiation therapy.Goserelin is also used as an anticancer agent for the treatment of platinum-resistant ovarian cancer in women who are premenopausal and cannot be treated with other agents. The mechanism by which it works is not fully understood, but it has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo.
