Sex pheromone inhibitor IPD1 is an antibody that inhibits the production of sex pheromones by Streptococcus faecalis. It is used to diagnose and treat allergic diseases, such as atopic dermatitis or bronchial asthma. This antibody binds to a protein called polypide, which is involved in the synthesis of sex pheromones, and inhibits its activity. It has been shown to inhibit the production of sex pheromones by Streptococcus faecalis when analyzed using an SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis method. Sex pheromone inhibitor IPD1 also binds to antibodies against streptococcus, acari, and other bacteria.
