Descrizione:Sodium triacetoxyborohydride is an organoborane compound that reacts with nucleophiles. It is used in the chemical synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other organic compounds. Sodium triacetoxyborohydride has been shown to decrease blood pressure in wild-type mice and improve the survival rate of animals after abdominal surgery. This drug also reduces the levels of reactive oxygen species in microglia cells, which may be due to its ability to scavenge superoxide radicals. The clinical data for this drug is limited to a single phase II study on patients with chronic abdominal pain.
