Descrizione:Strontium hexafluoroacetylacetonate (Sr(acac)2) is a complex of strontium, copper oxide and acac. It is an inorganic compound with a low vapor pressure at room temperature. Strontium hexafluoroacetylacetonate has been used as a catalyst for the vaporizing of volatile organic compounds. The crystal structure of Sr(acac)2 contains overlayers of copper oxide and strontium oxide that are separated by molecules of acac. This compound can be thermally decomposed to form lanthanum hexafluoroacetylacetonate, which can be used as a catalyst for organic reactions. Sr(acac)2 has been shown to exhibit ferroelectric properties and has potential applications in nonvolatile memory devices.
