Descrizione:Silver Perfluorooctanoate is an antimicrobial agent that has been shown to have a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It is used in vitro as a reaction solution for enzyme activities. Silver Perfluorooctanoate inhibits the growth of microorganisms by binding to their cell membranes and damaging their cytoplasmic membrane. The toxicological studies of Silver Perfluorooctanoate show that it can cause liver lesions in humans and animals when administered at high doses or over long periods of time. This chemical also causes maternal blood changes such as decreased hemoglobin levels, increased platelet counts, increased white blood cell counts, and increased coagulation times. Silver Perfluorooctanoate has been shown to be safe for humans at low doses, but there are no data on its effects on pregnant women or children.
