Descrizione:4-Tolyl-methylsulfone is a diphenyl ether that is used as an initiator for cationic polymerization. It is activated with anhydrous sodium and hydrochloric acid in reaction solution. The product of the reaction, methyl sulfone, reacts with fatty alcohols to form a particle. The particle is then reacted with chloride to form the chemical structures. 4-Tolyl-methylsulfone has been shown to produce particles that are highly reactive, which can be used for various applications such as coatings or adhesives.
