Descrizione:2-Thien-2-ylethanamine is an ethylene diamine that inhibits the production of hydrochloric acid. It has been shown to have potent antitumor activity and inhibitory effects on infectious diseases, such as malaria, caused by Plasmodium falciparum. 2-Thien-2-ylethanamine has also been shown to be a mitochondrial membrane potential inhibitor. These properties may be due to its ability to inhibit the action of malonic acid and other molecules that are involved in mitochondrial function. The inhibition of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is also thought to be related to the inhibition of mitochondrial function.
