Descrizione

TIC10 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of the transcription factor NF-κB and thereby suppresses tumor growth. TIC10 has been shown to inhibit serum prolactin levels and to have minimal toxicity in vitro. It also has anti-cancer properties, which may be due to its ability to interfere with mitochondrial functions, apoptosis pathway, and toll-like receptor signaling. TIC10 may be useful for treating pediatric cancer patients who are receiving radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
