Descrizione:Tetrindole mesylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been found to have selective action on the mammalian cells. It is a potent inhibitor of DNA methylation and histone methylation, which are important epigenetic regulators in cancer. Tetrindole mesylate has also been shown to inhibit growth factor receptor binding and receptor activation, as well as the growth of prostate cancer cells. This drug may also be useful for treating bone cancer, as it has been shown to inhibit radiation-induced osteoporosis and reduce the risk of radiation-induced cancers.
