Descrizione

Trilaurin is a fatty acid that is naturally found in the body. It was shown to have receptor activity and to affect co2 flow, systolic pressure, and diastolic pressure. Trilaurin has been shown to increase the mass of epididymal adipose tissue in mice by its chronic oral administration. Trilaurin also has a number of other effects on the cardiovascular system that may be due to its ability to inhibit protease activity or alter glycerin metabolism. The mechanism for these effects is not well understood.
