Tolebrutinib is an investigational drug that has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity against immune functions. Tolebrutinib is being developed by Novartis as a monoclonal antibody, which binds to the target protein Bruton's tyrosine kinase and inhibits its function. The binding of tolebrutinib with the protein also induces reversible covalent modifications at a number of sites on the protein, which may lead to the development of resistance over time.
