Tris(p-aminophenyl)amine is a chemical compound that has been used as a model system to study biochemical properties. Tris(p-aminophenyl)amine is reactive and can emit light when exposed to ultraviolet light. It has been shown to react with 2-aminoterephthalic acid in the presence of sodium carbonate, forming an adduct that emits blue light. Tris(p-aminophenyl)amine also has anti-cancer properties, which may be due to its reaction with radiation. This compound can also react with other molecules, such as DNA and RNA, and form covalent bonds.
