The mechanism of action for 2,4,6-Trichloroquinazoline is inhibition of nucleophilic amines which are involved in DNA synthesis. The IC50 values for this compound range from 0.1 to 1 µM and it has potent antiproliferative activity with significant inhibitory activity against various tumor cell lines.
