Descrizione:Cis-9-Tricosene is a fatty acid that is naturally occurring in plants. This compound has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Diptera. Cis-9-Tricosene can inhibit the growth of these bacteria by binding to their fatty acid receptors, thereby preventing them from synthesizing essential fatty acids. The ethyl decanoate moiety of cis-9-tricosene has also been shown to have insecticidal properties against dipterous insects, such as fruit flies and mosquitoes.
