Descrizione:2-Thien-2-ylpyridine is a group P2 molecule with a molecular weight of 194.1 g/mol. It has been shown to bind selectively to the factor receptor and copper chloride, but not other metal ligands. The compound has been studied by magnetic resonance spectroscopy, which showed that the chemical shifts in the nmr spectra are due to spin-spin coupling between different types of nuclei in 2-thien-2-ylpyridine. 2-Thien-2-ylpyridine also emits light when irradiated with UV light or visible light. The photophysical properties of this compound have been studied and found to be dependent on its oxidation state, as well as its reaction intermediates.
