• Descrizione: 2-(1H-1,2,4-Triazol-3-yl)pyridine is an efficient method for the synthesis of tetranuclear metalloporphyrins. This compound has been found to exist in a metastable form and can be converted to a stable form by coordination chemistry with metal ions. 2-(1H-1,2,4-Triazol-3-yl)pyridine has been shown to be isomeric with other pyridines and can be used as a starting material for the synthesis of palladium complexes. The x-ray crystal structures of these compounds have also been determined. The nmr spectra of water molecules bound to sodium salts show that they are in the trans configuration.
